Baywatch stars Nicole Eggert and Erika Eleniak met up at a benefit for first responders at L.A.’s Los Angeles City Fire Museum, with Eggert posting photos of the two on her Instagram on January 18, 2026, with the caption “Nothing like spending time with great ladies for a great cause.”
Though Eggert and Eleniak didn’t overlap on the show — Eleniak played Shauni McClain from 1989 to 1992, and left on the season three episode that introduced Eggert’s Summer Quinn, who appeared on the show from 1992 to 1994 — the two are friends, and have appeared together at events celebrating Baywatch.

Eleniak, 56, has retired from acting, and now lives in Canada with her husband, Roch Daigle, and their one child. Eggert, 54, has two children, and has been public about her battle with breast cancer following her 2023 diagnosis. The actress was open with fans about her journey, which involved two mastectomies, chemotherapy and radiation therapy. In September 2025, she reported to the New York Post that she was “healthy, and all my reports are clear.”
In a 2019 joint interview with The Mercury News to promote the 30th anniversary of Baywatch, Eleniak explained that she left the show to make movies, and “It was kind of a great time to go because my swansong was the introduction of C.J. Parker, Pamela Anderson‘s character. And I mean, they hit the lottery.” Eggert, who had been acting since early childhood, said she left the show because “I needed to grow up and kind of work on myself. If I could talk to young Nicole now, I would tell her to just keep going, rest when you’re dead. But at the time, for my own happiness, I just needed to take some downtime.”
