Busfield, 68, turned himself in to New Mexico authorities on January 13, after the Albuquerque Police Department issued a warrant on January 9 on child sex abuse charges. According to the warrant, the thirtysomething actor allegedly engaged in unlawful sexual conduct with sibling actors, 11, after meeting on the set of The Cleaning Lady, which he directed, as a director, per People. One of the victims was just 7 when the alleged incidents began.

On the same day Busfield turned himself in, “another victim’s father” alleged that Busfield sexually abused his daughter “several years ago” when she was 16.

Little House on the Prairie star, Gilbert, 61, released a statement in the wake of her husband’s arrest, and Busfield called the allegations “all lies.”

“I did not do anything to those little boys, and I’m gonna fight it. I’m gonna fight it with a great team, and I’m gonna be exonerated, I know I am, because this is all so wrong and all lies,” he said in a video obtained by TMZ. “So hang in there and hopefully, I’m out real soon and back to work. I love everybody for supporting me, thank you.”
