Corey Feldman issued a direct response to the news of Timothy Busfield‘s arrest warrant for alleged child sex abuse.

On Friday, January 9, the Albuquerque Police Department issued an arrest warrant for Busfield, 68. It alleged that the West Wing and Field of Dreams star engaged in unlawful sexual conduct with unnamed twin actors, 11, whom he met on the set of The Cleaning Lady while directing the series, per People. One of the brothers alleged that the abuse began when he was 7.

Feldman, 54, took to X the following day to repost an article about the shocking news.

“MY MY, IT SEEMS THINGS SURE HAVEN’T CHANGED 1 BIT IN THE PAST 40 YRS,” the Stand by Me and The Goonies star captioned his update. “BUT REMEMBER THE NARRATIVE, I’M THE KRAYZ 1? Y? CUZ I SPEAK #TRUTH.”

Feldman added, “THEY WORK OVERTIME 2 PAINT ME AS A LIAR, & GASLIGHT ME, AFTER A LIFETIME OF GOOD DEEDS, SO THEY CAN KEEP PROTECTING THIS.”

In 2011, Feldman declared to ABC News’ Nightline, “I can tell you that the No. 1 problem in Hollywood was and is and always will be pedophilia. That’s the biggest problem for children in this industry. … It’s the big secret.”

The former child actor and his The Lost Boys costar, Corey Haim (who died in 2010), also opened up about the alleged abuse they suffered as kids in the TV series The Two Coreys (2007–2008). Feldman further explored the alleged sex abuse he experienced in his 2013 memoir Coreyography: A Memoir. More recently, Feldman was shown discussing his experiences in the documentary Corey Feldman vs. The World.
