The Princess Bride star Robin Wright, 59, stunned with her ageless beauty on the red carpet at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards.
On Sunday, January 11, the actress stepped out wearing a black, velvet, floor-length gown featuring sheer fabric on her shoulders. She paired the look with open-toed, black heels and accessorized with a crocodile-print black clutch. For hair, she had her blond bob parted on the side in subtle waves.
As Wright posed for photos on the red carpet before heading into The Beverly Hilton for the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, the Forrest Gump actress’ youthful glow was front and center.

Wright was nominated for a Golden Globe in the category of Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Limited Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television for her role in The Girlfriend. Other nominees included Claire Danes for The Beast in Me, Rashida Jones for Black Mirror, Amanda Seyfried for Long Bright River, Sarah Snook for All Her Fault, and Michelle Williams for Dying for Sex. Ultimately, Williams won.
In addition to playing Princess Buttercup in The Princess Bride and Jenny in Forrest Gump, Wright is best known for portraying Claire Underwood in the Netflix series House of Cards, for which she won a Golden Globe in 2014 and several Emmy nominations.
During a September 2025 interview with AARP, Wright discussed her views on aging ahead of her 60th birthday in April 2026.
“I don’t see it as the end of an era. It’s just another number that’s a little bit bigger,” she admitted. “It hasn’t shifted me in any way because I feel like I did that shift when I was 50, where I said, ‘I’m going to do it my way.”‘
