Fans from around the world flock to the Hollywood Show in Burbank, California, to meet and take photos with their favorite stars. And singer/ songwriter and actress Debbie Gibson got the convention going on its opening night, Friday, January 9, 2026.

Members of her Diamond Debhead fan club flew across the country to meet Gibson, who made history at age 17 as the youngest artist to write, produce and perform a Billboard No. 1 single with 1988’s “Foolish Beat,” along with later hits like “Only in My Dreams” and “Lost in Your Eyes” .

Gibson generously shared stories and laughs as she took photos and greeted fans with her endearing charm and genuine gratitude. The crowd went wild when Harry Waters Jr. from Back to the Future, whose renditions of “Earth Angel” and “Night Tracks” in the film were iconic, sauntered across the convention hall to surprise Gibson with a little impromptu sing-along.

The cast of Back to the Future, including Claudia Wells, Donald Fullilove, Michael Klastorin and Harry Waters Jr. will all reunite in a fan question and answer panel on Saturday, Jan. 10 at 1 pmPT.
