MeTV’s new “Aaron Spelling Sundays” programming block continues on January 11, 2026, with another four-hour lineup designed to capture everything fans loved about Spelling’s television empire. Airing from 2pm to 6pm ET, the afternoon brings together glamorous detectives, high-seas danger and one of The Love Boat‘s most memorable ensemble episodes. Each hour highlights a different corner of Spelling’s TV universe, with early series episodes and guest stars that helped define late ’70s and early ’80s television.

2pm: Charlie’s Angels, “The Mexican Connection”

The afternoon begins with the second-ever episode of Charlie’s Angels, in which Sabrina, Jill, and Kelly go undercover on an international case. After a stewardess carrying drugs is murdered, her injured pilot brother hires Townsend Investigations to uncover who was behind the smuggling operation. The Angels travel to Mexico, each taking on a different cover identity as they work to dismantle the drug ring and identify the killer. Originally airing on September 29, 1976, “The Mexican Connection” stars Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson, and Jaclyn Smith at the height of the show’s original trio era.

3pm: Hart to Hart, “Passport to Murder”

While sailing on a yacht, the Harts find themselves drawn into a dangerous situation when one of their guests is blackmailed into smuggling drugs. What begins as a luxurious getaway quickly turns into a high stakes investigation involving corrupt officials and escalating threats. “Passport to Murder” originally aired on September 29, 1979 and stars Robert Wagner, Stefanie Powers, and Lionel Stander.

4pm: Fantasy Island, “The Prince / The Sheriff”

In this episode, the European Crown Prince Peter d’Anatoli chooses to live as an ordinary working man to better understand his people’s lives. Meanwhile, a New York City detective travels to an Old West fantasy to confront the men he believes were responsible for his partner’s death. Originally airing on February 11, 1978, the episode stars Ricardo Montalbán as Mr. Roarke and Hervé Villechaize as Tattoo, with notable guest appearances by Dack Rambo, Harry Guardino, Lisa Hartman, Sheree North and Ed Begley Jr.

Originally airing on February 27, 1982, the episode features multiple storylines centered on a shipboard musical production, family tensions and of course, romantic misunderstandings. As relatives and guests clash over who will take center stage, the Pacific Princess becomes the setting for one of the show’s most ambitious ensemble outings. The episode stars the full Love Boat cast, including Gavin MacLeod, Bernie Kopell, Fred Grandy, Ted Lange, Lauren Tewes, Jill Whelan, and features an extraordinary guest lineup that includes Carol Channing, Ethel Merman, Ann Miller, Cab Calloway, Della Reese and Van Johnson.
