All My Children star Susan Lucci celebrated the show’s 56th anniversary with throwback photos from the beloved soap opera.

On Monday, Jan. 5, the actress, 79, took to Instagram to mark the milestone and share her appreciation.

“January 5, 1970: All My Children premiers. And everything changes,” she captioned her update. “Thank you to Agnes Nixon for creating Pine Valley and for Erica Kane. To all the cast and crew, I love you, always.”

The accompanying carousel of images showed Lucci and her All My Children castmates through the years, including both posed group shots and scenes from the show itself.

To conclude the post, Lucci wrote, “And to the fans — Thank you for watching — and for your passion!!! Thank you for keeping us on the air for forty one years!!! ❤️🎉🎊>.”
