Kelly LeBrock, the actress best known for playing Lisa in 1985 film Weird Science, recently shared a rare personal update after leaving Hollywood 20 years ago.

In an interview with the Daily Mail published on December 15, LeBrock, 65, chatted with the outlet while attending the Vanderpump Dog Gala in Beverly Hills, California, on December 11.

“I don’t really go out anymore. I’m sort of a bit of a recluse, but I like it like that,” she shared. “I gave up diamonds for dirt, and I have a big ranch that I have horses and cattle and dogs and chickens, and I take care of it myself. I have one man, one day a week that comes and helps.”

Of her Santa Ynez Valley, California, property, LeBrock detailed, “It’s behind the lake. It’s a little gem of its own. I live in church. The countryside there is so incredible.”

When the former actress was asked what she was looking forward to that night at the event, she told the Daily Mail, “Dinner, drinks. Just seeing everybody. I don’t really go out anymore. I’m sort of a bit of a recluse, but I like it like that.”

In 1996, LeBrock divorced Steven Seagal after marrying in 1987 and welcoming three children. She opted to raise their kids out of the spotlight.

“Hollywood wasn’t a place where I wanted to raise my children, she told Fox News in 2021. “My divorce was very much in the press, and I’m just not a Hollywood girl. Never have been. I never really liked the attention. I wanted to have dirt in my nails and be in the outdoors.”

Since then, LeBrock has appeared in a few projects here and there, most recently in the film Tomorrow’s Today in 2021.

In addition to LeBrock, Weird Science starred Anthony Michael Hall, Ilan Mitchell-Smith, Bill Paxton, Robert Downey Jr. Robert Rusler, and Judie Aronson, among others.
