On Thursday, December 4, the official Instagram account for the boy band posted a video that immediately turned heads. The clip featured AJ McClean wearing an orange life jacket and an orange cap that read “Summerland,” as he rowed with an oar in front of a backdrop of water and boats.

The Backstreet Boys have their “Into the Millennium” residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada, starting on December 26, 2025, and ending on February 15, 2026. Additionally, the beloved ’90s and 2000s boy band will kick off a three-day run of concerts in Schladming, Austria, on December 5. So, the countdown may very well be for the Schladming shows, or the Sphere residency, or something else entirely.
In 1996, their self-titled debut album saw huge success through songs like “Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)” and “I’ll Never Break Your Heart.” Their 1999 album, Millennium, catapulted the group into international super-stardom with hits such as “I Want It That Way,” “Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely,” “Larger Than Life,” and more.
