This Fellini-directed 45 minute short was originally part of the anthology film Spirits of the Dead, which adapted Edgar Allan Poe stories. Fellini took a very loose approach to the short story “Never Bet the Devil Your Head” in this psychedelic drama about an alcoholic actor (Terence Stamp) whose trip to Rome goes awry due to paparazzi, fans, and also the devil.
