How Well Do You Remember Fonzie from ‘Happy Days’
Yes, it was technically an ensemble cast, but anyone who watched can tell you that the real star of Happy Days was Henry Winkler’s Arthur Fonzarelli. Originally intended to be a minor character only seen around the diner, Fonzie was an near-instant breakout star, taking up much of the show’s spotlight (and inadvertently leading to the infamous disappearance of Chuck Cunningham — producers on the show decided Richie didn’t need two old brother types, and Fonzie was way more popular).
Though other characters came and went, Fonzie appeared in all 11 seasons of the show, growing from a leather jacket-clad greaser to a guidance counselor who steers teen boys away from his old greaser ways. He even had his own spinoff cartoon — as well as posters, action figures, and his own compilation LP.
But how well do you remember the man who jumped the original shark? Take our quiz and find out!
