Yes, You Can Visit the Real ‘Brady Bunch’ House — Here’s How

Fans of The Brady Bunch are getting the chance to step inside television history, literally: For the first time ever, the midcentury Studio City, California, home that served as the exterior of the Brady family’s house will be open to the public for a special event called “The Brady Experience.” The event — which will allow fans not just to enjoy the exterior featured on the show, but also check out an interior restored to look like the sets used in the series — will run for just a few days on November 7-9, hosted by pop culture historian and Vintage L.A. founder Alison Martino. Tickets cost $275 each, with proceeds going to the animal rescue Wags and Walks and even with that steep price tag, tickets reportedly sold out quickly.
Can Fans Visit the Brady Bunch House Today?
Visitors will enjoy an hour-long guided tour with Martino, along with time to wander the house on their own. The interior has been carefully designed to replicate the set fans know so well as shown in the HGTV series A Very Brady Renovation, down to retro details like a vintage Plymouth station wagon parked in the driveway. Guests will also be able to pose for a photo on the show’s most famous feature, the Brady staircase. Martino has described the experience as unlike any museum tour. Nothing is blocked off or hidden behind ropes, allowing fans to explore each room freely and soak in every detail. It is a fully immersive walk through one of television’s most iconic homes.

Where Is the Real Brady Bunch House Located?
The house at 11222 Dilling Street was used strictly for exterior shots during The Brady Bunch run from 1969 to 1974. The cast filmed their interior scenes at Paramount Studios, which meant the real home’s interior looked nothing like the set. That changed when HGTV bought the property in 2018 and renovated it from top to bottom to look like the set, with help from Brady cast members Barry Williams, Maureen McCormick, Christopher Knight, Eve Plumb, Mike Lookinland and Susan Olsen. In 2023, it was sold to new owner Tina Trahan for $3.2 million.
All five seasons of The Brady Bunch are streaming on Paramount+ with a subscription and on Pluto TV for free.
Would you want to tour the Brady house for yourself? Perhaps they will do another event since this one sold out so quickly!
