Where Can You Watch ‘Bonanza’ On TV?

When Bonanza first aired on September 12, 1959, it changed television history. One of the first shows filmed entirely in color, it introduced viewers to the Cartwright family on the sprawling Ponderosa Ranch near Virginia City, Nevada. Led by patriarch Ben Cartwright, played by Lorne Greene, and his three sons Adam, Hoss and Little Joe, the show mixed Western adventure with family drama and moral lessons. Over 14 seasons and 431 episodes, it became one of TV’s longest-running and most beloved Westerns — and can still be seen on TV each day, over 60 years after it first premiered.
If you’re ready to ride back to the Ponderosa, here’s where you can still watch Bonanza today, both on live TV and streaming.
