Connie Stevens was the girl next door with the voice of an angel. Born on August 8, 1938, Stevens became a household name in the late 1950s and early ’60s thanks to her bubbly personality, platinum blonde hair, and undeniable talent. As of 2025, Stevens is 87 years old, and her legacy spans music, film, television, and business. Which begs the question: where is she now and what has she been up to in recent years?

Stevens first found fame with the role of Cricket Blake on the hit TV series Hawaiian Eye, which aired from 1959 to 1963. That show didn’t just spotlight her acting chops; it gave her a platform to sing, which helped launch her music career. One of her most memorable songs, “Sixteen Reasons,” was a major hit in 1960 and remains one of the best-loved teen pop tracks of the era. During this time, Stevens also appeared in popular films like Parrish and Susan Slade, cementing her reputation as a leading lady of the moment.

Beyond her acting and singing, she founded the cosmetics company Forever Spring in the 1980s, which she marketed through television and catalog sales. The company was successful for decades and was one of the first celebrity-owned beauty brands. She also directed the 1997 feature film Saving Grace B. Jones, a period drama she wrote, produced, and starred in, showing she had just as much passion for storytelling behind the camera as in front of it.

In recent years, Stevens has kept a lower profile, though she still makes occasional public appearances. She suffered a stroke in 2016 and it prompted her to step back from the spotlight to focus on her health. Despite that, she’s been seen attending Hollywood events and award shows with her daughters, actresses Joely Fisher and Tricia Leigh Fisher. Today, Stevens lives a quieter life but was recently seen in the 2025 film By the Rivers of Babylon after not acting for over a decade.
