Last week, the hit-making musician, 77, known for classic tunes like “Mr. Blue Sky” and “Evil Woman” as well as his time in legendary supergroup the Traveling Wilburys, canceled the last two shows of ELO’s farewell tour, including a blow-out final show, which was due to occur on July 13 in London’s Hyde Park, and which many fans had traveled internationally to attend. The BST Hyde Park show, which was supposed to represent Lynne’s retirement from performing live, will not be rescheduled.

While fans were disappointed the final show was cancelled, it didn’t bring them down from sharing their love of the band. Hundreds gathered at the venue for an ELO sing-along in tribute to the artist.

We wish you a speedy recovery, Jeff!
