Happy Birthday, Cheryl Ladd! Celebrate With 12 Classic TV Commercials Starring the ‘Charlie’s Angel’ Beauty

Cheryl Ladd burst onto the Hollywood scene as the voice of Melody in the Hanna-Barbera cartoon Josie and the Pussycats in 1970. In 1972 she became a series regular on The Ken Berry “Wow” Show and made guest appearances on Happy Days, The Partridge Family, The Rookies, The Fantastic Journey, Police Woman and more.
But it was in 1977 — when she replaced Farrah Fawcett — that Cheryl Ladd became known around the world as Charlie’s newest Angel, Kris Munroe and stayed with the show until its end in 1981.
Ladd continued her work in film and television, appearing in Purple Hearts, Grace Kelly, Millennium, and Poison Ivy. Her television credits include One West Waikiki, Las Vegas, American Crime Story, and, most recently, Dancing with the Stars in 2022.
