Want to Meet the ‘My Three Sons’ Cast? A Rare Reunion Is Bringing Them Together

For fans of classic television, My Three Sons remains one of the most cherished family sitcoms of all time. The series, which originally aired from 1960 to 1972, starred Fred MacMurray as Steve Douglas, a widowed father raising three boys with the help of his father-in-law and later his brother. The show ran for 12 seasons and nearly 400 episodes, making it one of the longest-running sitcoms of its era. Now, several cast members are coming together in person for a special reunion at The Hollywood Show on September 5 and 6, 2025, at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel. Scheduled to appear are Stanley Livingston, Barry Livingston, Dawn Lyn and Tina Cole.
Stanley played Chip Douglas, one of Steve’s original sons who appeared in every season of the show. Barry, Stanley’s real-life younger brother, joined the cast in the fourth season as Ernie, who was adopted into the family after the character of Mike, the eldest son, left the show. Tina Cole played Katie, the wife of Robbie Douglas, and was introduced in the later seasons during the show’s color era. Lyn, who played Dodie Harper Douglas in the show, was previously ill so it is great news to hear she is doing well and will be attending the show.
