Outside the Marriott Hotel in Burbank, California, wrapped a long line of fans eagerly waiting to get a chance to meet and talk with the cast of Scarecrow and Mrs. King, The Waltons, Leave It to Beaver, Barney Miller, Knots Landing, Star Trek, Priscilla Presley, Wilson Phillips and so many others. The Hollywood Show officially opened Friday, June 6 and runs all day Saturday, June 7.

Inside, the ballroom had the energy of a living, breathing time machine. Fans clutched faded vintage posters, albums and bubble-wrapped collectibles to get an autograph. This is no ordinary fan convention, either, as the Hollywood Show allows for more casual personal connections to be made – stars patiently talk one-on-one with fans and exchange stories on their love of a particular show, movie or album.

Bruce Boxleitner and Martha Smith anchored the Scarecrow and Mrs. King corner Friday (Kate Jackson arrives on Saturday). Bruce still had the effortless swagger of a man who knew how to catch spies and hearts. The lines were the longest to meet this cast, along with Presley.

In the ballroom the cast of The Waltons gathered like an actual family reunion — minus the potato salad. Michael Learned (Olivia Walton), Richard Thomas (John Boy), David Harper (Jim Bob), Judy Norton (Mary Ellen) and Kami Cotler (Elizabeth) were all smiles greeting fans and sharing stories.

The cast of Leave It to Beaver are right behind The Waltons, where Jerry Mathers is still as adorable as ever reconnecting with his fans. Mathers was flanked by his onscreen friends — Stephen Talbot who played Beaver’s friend Gilbert Bates and Luke Tiger Farfara, the older brother of the late Stanley Farfara who played Whitey. Luke played Wally’s (the late Tony Dow) best buddy, and Stanley played Beaver’s. Jeri Weil, who played Judy Hensler, also made a rare appearance and was next to Veronica Cartwright

Keith Thibodeaux, I Love Lucy

I Love Lucy’s Little Ricky — Keith Thibodeaux — shared photos and recollections of his time on the series. “I remember when we took this official cast picture, they were positioning each one of us and making sure we had the right clothes,” Thibodeaux told us. “Vivian Vance had her hands like that [he extends his hand with fingers together]. And the guy said, put your thumb up. So she put her thumb up [kind of like the Fonz, clearly well before that show’s time]. That is so weird. Instead of [flat or naturally] put your hand like that with your thumb up. And so there’s a great picture.”

Meanwhile, Bill Mumy, from Lost in Space, always mesmerizes with stories about battling space monsters and working with the original robot, as well as talking on his music ventures with Barnes & Barnes and their hit song “Fish Heads.” He graciously posed for us after the show, holding an earlier issue of ReMIND Magazine, in which he was featured.

Three fans from Australia were devastated to learn Michelle Phillips had to cancel last minute, but the Mamma and Papa’s singer and Knots Landing star expressed her sincerest apologies for her personal emergency and translated her apologies through her daughter Chynna Phillips. Chynna went out of her way to take photos and talk to the fans about her mom.

Chynna is flanking another corner of the ballroom with her bandmates Wendy Wilson and Carnie Wilson, and across from her sits her husband, Billy Baldwin of SliverFlatliners, and Backdraft.

Like a perfectly tanned mirage — George Hamilton strolled in Friday dazzling with the confidence of a man who’s never known a bad photo angle. He’ll spend the weekend flashing his million-dollar smile.

Please check out the full list of attendees here, as it’s such an impressive lineup. The show isn’t just a meet-and-greet, it’s an intimate excursion of memories, emotions and the wonderful weirdness that happens when TV’s most beloved icons step down from the screen and into your selfie frame.

ReMIND Magazine will be posting more on the actual panels later, but if you are at the show please stop by and say hi!
