MeTV’s ‘Toon In With Me’ Celebrates Being Halfway to Halloween With ‘Juneaween’
While the summer is full of exciting holidays and events, sometimes, even during barbecue season, you just miss Halloween — and MeTV is scratching that itch by presenting “Juneaween,” a halfway-to-Halloween celebration. eginning June 2. MeTV’s weekday morning show Toon In With Me will air Halloween-themed episodes from Monday, June 2 – Friday, June 6 (7-8 am ET/PT)
On Monday, June 2, hosts Bill the Cartoon Curator and Toony the Tuna will learn about the real spooky sport of coffin racing and Toony will compete as a racer carried by Bill and Mr. Quizzer. The next day, Bill and Toony will gear up to listen to some scary campfire stories at Camp Watchingtoon, mixing summer camp with Halloween tales.

On June 4, Bill and Toony will team up with Johnny & Marie from Untouchable Tours Chicago to learn about all things haunted in Chicago. On the 5th, Mr. Quizzer, Bill and Toony will prep for a pool party with help from chef Lisa Count, owner of the Chopping Block and seven-time state champion giant pumpkin grower Joe Adkins who demonstrates watermelon carving.

Of course, it all leads up to June 6th and a big Juneaween pool party, where Bill and Toony must find the best costume at Chicago’s largest costume store, Fantasy Costumes, before the party begins. Meanwhile, MeTV will also share episodes of Halloween-themed cartoons including “Transylvania 6-500,” “Dr. Jerkyl’s Hide,” “Broomstick Bunny,” “Bewitched Bunny,” “Hyde And Hare” and “Trick Or Tweet.”
