The original Mission: Impossible series was about a team of secret agents who took on dangerous covert missions to thwart national security threats from both within and beyond the United States’ borders. It hit the airwaves in September 1966 and starred Peter Graves as James Phelps for all 143 episodes and had an incredible ensemble cast, including Greg Morris, Peter Lupus, Barbara Bain and many others.
