Pam Grier Debuts New Streaming Channel ‘Pam Grier’s Soul Flix’ Celebrating Classic Black Cinema

Film icon Pam Grier — whose half-century career spans everything from ’70s classics like Foxy Brown to the Golden Globe-winning Jackie Brown to an appearance alongside David Duchovny in 2023’s Pet Sematary: Bloodlines — has announced the debut of Pam Grier’s Soul Flix, a new streaming channel celebrating Black cinema. The channel, which will feature films curated by Grier, can be watched on platforms including The Roku Channel and Plex.tv, and was created in association with Free TV Networks.
In a statement, Grier said, “I could not be more pleased with my Free TV Networks partnership. It builds upon my life’s work to support all independent women and fans of Black cinema. These films don’t just entertain — they inspire, empower and tell stories that need to be heard. As someone who’s lived through this journey and fought to bring strong characters to life, I’m thrilled to shine the spotlight on the brilliance and resilience of our community. Pam Grier’s Soul Flix is a celebration of our legacy.”
The channel will draw from across the decades, showcasing everything from 1974’s The Harder They Come to clips of classic jazz artists.
You can watch Pam Grier’s Soul Flix on The Roku Channel and Plex.tv.
