Catchy Comedy’s ’70s Saturday Night’ Has ‘Mary Tyler Moore,’ ‘All in the Family’ and More
Fans of classic TV comedy, it’s time to rejoice (and bring out your comfiest Archie Bunker chair): Catchy Comedy will be broadcasting CBS’ beloved 1973-4 Saturday lineup as part of their new “Catchy Flashback: Iconic ’70s Saturday Nights” programming block. All In the Family, M*A*S*H, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Bob Newhart Show, and The Carol Burnett Show will air every Saturday night, starting Saturday, Jan. 4 2025!
Known to some as “the greatest TV lineup ever,” these half-hour comedies aired together each Saturday night on CBS in 1973-4 — and earned a combined 12 Emmy wins and 29 nominations that year. Catchy’s Saturday night schedule marks the first time in nearly half a century that these shows have all aired on the same night.
Each Saturday night, tune in starting at 8pm ET to catch two-and-a-half hours of retro laughs.
8pm – All In the Family
8:30pm – M*A*S*H
9pm – The Mary Tyler Moore Show
9:30pm – The Bob Newhart Show
10pm – The Carol Burnett Show
If you’re hungry for nostalgic hits outside of primetime, Catchy Comedy’s Saturday schedule airs over 12 hours of nostalgic sitcoms.
First, you can watch the “Catchy Families” block with episodes of Full House, The Brady Bunch and My Three Sons from 11am-5pm.
11am – Four back-to-back episodes of Full House
1pm – Four back-to-back episodes of The Brady Bunch
3pm – Four back-to-back episodes of My Three Sons
If you’re looking to fill the dinner hours with some extra laughs, check out “Catchy Loves Lucy,” which will air episodes of Lucille Ball‘s many TV shows from 5-8pm.
5pm & 5:30pm – The Lucy Show
6pm – The Lucy–Desi Comedy Hour
7pm & 7:30pm – I Love Lucy
And night owls, be sure to tune in for the ‘Catchy’s Not-So-Smart Sitcoms’ block with episodes of Get Smart, Sledge Hammer and Police Squad.
