Mystery Science Theater 3000‘s annual fan-favorite Thanksgiving “Turkey Day” marathon returns in 2024 with a lineup of 11 classic episodes, shared by former and current MST3K cast and crew, including hosts/writers/performers such as Joel Hodgson, Felicia Day, Emily Marsh and Mary Jo Pehl, along with celebrity MSTies David Dastmalchian, Mike Flanagan, Bryan Fuller, Mark Hamill, Matthew Lillard and Kumail Nanjiani, all of whom will introduce a favorite MST3K episode.

Hosted by Jonah Ray, this year’s marathon airs on Shout! TV and The MST3K Channel on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024, beginning at 5am ET.

The lineup features a heaping helping of terrific episodes, including the legendary lampoons of Space Mutiny, Werewolf and, of course, Manos: The Hands of Fate.

Longtime fans will have even more reason to be thankful this Turkey Day, as one of this year’s marathon highlights, airing later in primetime, is the long-awaited return of fan-favorite episode The Final Sacrifice — a low-budget Canadian adventure film featuring the ridiculously named hero Zap Rowsdower — to the world of streaming (I believe the DVD version of that episode is also no longer in print).

The marathon will be available to watch on a wide variety of platforms. For a complete list, visit MST3KTurkeyDay.com.

If you are unable to watch the marathon on Turkey Day itself, because of traveling or uncool relatives who don’t want to turn it on and watch with you, don’t worry: Following the initial presentation of the marathon, it will be rerunning on the Mystery Science Theater 3000 channel and Shout! TV over the rest of the holiday weekend.
