The Eagles are coming to Las Vegas and they are bringing with them “Hotel California” vibes. To celebrate their residency at the new and exciting Sphere venue, the band transported the old Troubadour venue from Santa Monica Boulevard to The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. The Troubadour is very special to the Eagles, as it was where founding members Glenn Frey and Don Henley met in 1970.

Fans can walk through the iconic California venue and see Henley’s first drum set on the stage. Cindy Frey, who was married to Glenn Frey and is the mother of Deacon Frey, the band’s current singer, opened up about how the project came to be.

She said, “We knew we wanted to do something special. Our fans, you know, we’re going to be here for a little bit. Our fans are the greatest in the world, and they come here to walk back in time and get something of themselves back. And we thought, what better way to do it than to walk into the bar where, you know, it all started.”

She continued, “They have never been a band that was about flashy lights or video content or show or tricks. They just stood up there and played, and they’re still going to do that, the music is going to deliver. They sound as amazing as ever.”

The Eagles are performing on select dates at the Sphere now through January. Get tickets here.
