If seeing Turk (Donald Faison) and J.D. (Zach Braff) together in those T-Mobile commercials got you excited, wait until you see another Scrubs reunion! Several of the show’s stars came together for what they called an “impromptu pizza party” and shared a snap to commemorate. Braff, Sarah Chalke, John C. McGinley, and Christa Miller posed in a photo with The Talk host Amanda Kloots, a friend of Braff’s.

McGinley also shared the photo of the mini-reunion and teased fans, “…getting the band back together!” For eight seasons in the 2000s (let’s just not discuss the ninth season… if you’re a fan, you know what I’m talking about), Braff, Chalke, McGinley, and Miller starred in the comedy-drama about a group of friends working at Sacred Heart Hospital.

The series creator and Miller’s husband, Bill Lawrence joked in the comments, “Was not invited. Weird.” Fans were quick to comment about how happy they were seeing the stars reunite and many begged for a reboot, reunion, or even a Scrubs movie. Apparently, this isn’t out of the question. While Lawrence has been working on the highly popular show Ted Lasso in recent years, he has expressed interest in a Scrubs movie.

Faison has also opened up about the potential of a movie. He shared, “Here’s the deal: I think we all want a reboot and want to work together again, but it couldn’t be a full season; maybe like a movie or something we could shoot in a few months. With everything Bill is doing now, he’s never going to be free again. If he finds the time, we’ll do it.”

In the meantime, if you’re a fan and miss the show (or re-watch it every year as I do… you can watch the series on Hulu), you can check out Faison and Braff’s podcast. They rewatch each episode, share behind-the-scenes stories and invite special guests on to discuss the show. Find Fake Doctors, Real Friends with Zach and Donald wherever you listen to podcasts.

Now tell me, who is your favorite Scrubs character? I’d say mine changes with every rewatch but Janitor is always at the top (especially after learning that Neil Flynn adlibs most of his lines). I’ll leave you with this…
