Frankie Valli Gets Court-Ordered Protection Against His Son
Frankie Valli‘s family is experiencing some hard times. 90-year-old Valli is in the middle of some drama between two of his sons, Emilio and Francesco. 29-year-old Emilio filed for a temporary restraining order against 36-year-old Francesco after claiming that he tried to break into Valli’s home and was threatening Valli and himself. Emilio went on to claim that Francesco has drug abuse problems and relies on their father for financial support. He added that his dad recently cut him off which led to the threats.
Emilio said that his father was fearful for his life which led to him trying to keep Francesco away from the family and their property. Valli responded to these claims and said that he is “saddened by these unfortunate events and appreciates that his privacy will be respected as he works out these family issues.” The court agreed to issue a three-year restraining order for Valli against Francesco, who was obviously absent from his recent star ceremony at the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Emilio added that he believes Francesco is pawning off their father’s personal belongings in order to buy opiates and thinks that is why he showed up at the home. The paperwork said that they hope a judge could step in and help the situation. You may recognize Francesco as he is an actor who has appeared in Full House, The House Bunny and Reach Me.
This isn’t the first time the Valli family has struggled with drug abuse. In 1980, just six months after his stepdaughter Celia died after falling off a fire escape, his daughter Francine reportedly died from a drug overdose. He also has a daughter named Antonia and a son named Brando. Brando is Emilio’s twin and they are the youngest of the bunch. Hoping things improve for the Valli family soon!
