Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals That a Hugely Famous Leading Man Used to Babysit Her
Gwyneth Paltrow recently revealed some truths on an episode of Hot Ones, the show where celebs bare their souls while eating increasingly hotter hot wings. Paltrow is your classic nepo baby, with parents Blythe Danner and Bruce Paltrow. It is no wonder that she became acquainted with some famous stars from the time she was born and she was even babysat by one!
She revealed that actor Kiefer Sutherland, the son of Donald Sutherland and Shirley Douglas, was once her babysitter. She said that he babysat her and her brother, Jake Paltrow, and admitted that “he was awesome.”

Back in 2009, Sutherland opened up about how he got the gig. He said, “I was working in a theater with [Gwyneth’s] mother … and I believe on a couple of occasions I was asked to look after her for an hour or two. I think it was very funny because it’s unbelievable how fast someone goes from 13 to 18, and obviously they look so different that when Gwyneth started to work, I thought, ‘Well, that must be another girl,’ because I always remember her as being 11 or 12 years old.”

Paltrow is also no stranger to babysitting famous children. She once looked after gal pal Beyoncé‘s daughter Blue Ivy while her mom performed at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2016 alongside Paltrow’s ex Chris Martin. She said, “It’s really funny. It’s like my kids’ dad and Blue’s mom are always doing these incredible, mind-boggling things and I’m always with the kids and the snack bag and baby wipes and juice boxes.”
Paltrow is a mom, sharing daughter Apple and son Moses with Martin. She is also the stepmom to her husband Brad Falchuck‘s kids Brody, 18, and Isabella, 19.
