Gear Up for Super Sammy Hagar Sunday Coming to AXS TV This April

AXS TV is celebrating rocker Sammy Hagar with an all-day event on Sunday, April 14, 2024, complete with a very exciting giveaway. Starting at 10 a.m. ET, AXS TV will air Sammy Super Sunday, showcasing music and interviews with the beloved Hagar. Fans can expect to see performances, jam sessions, interviews, and more.

Headlining the day is the concert film Sammy Hagar & The Wabos: Livin’ It Up! which will air at 9 pm ET. The film features some iconic performances of Van Halen hits “Summer Nights,” “Best of Both Worlds,” and more plus some of Hagar’s solo songs including “Little White Lie” and “I Can’t Drive 55.”

During the marathon, AXS TV will air some of the original series Rock & Roll Road Trip With Sammy Hagar featuring some big stars including Willie Nelson, Cheech & Chong, and Rick Springfield. In addition, The Eddie Money Tribute Concert will air once more.

AXS TV is offering a thrilling giveaway for fans that will allow one winner to receive two VIP tickets for the opening poolside party for Sammy’s Island, filled with drinks, food, and live music at the Palms Casino Resort on May 17. The Ulitmate VIP prize package also includes two VIP tickets to meet Hagar and see him perform at The Pearl on May 18. The winner will receive $1,000 for travel and a three-night stay at the Palms.
