Sharon Stone made some shocking revelations in her memoir “The Beauty of Living Twice,” and has since decided to name names. She wrote about an incident where a producer pressured her to have sex with her co-star and recently revealed that the co-star was Billy Baldwin in the 1993 film Sliver. She said that the producer was the late Robert Evans, who wanted her to sleep with Baldwin for the “sake of the film.”

It was just after the success of Basic Instinct and Stone shared that “they expected me to bring home another giant smash hit, and they gave me casting approval, and they gave me all these approvals, but then when it came time for me to do it, they told me it was a vanity deal and I couldn’t have my approvals. Then they started to try to blame me for their mistakes, and they made terrible mistakes in the way that they hired directors and cast.”

She added about Evans, “And he’s running around his office in sunglasses explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin, because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin’s performance would get better. And we needed Billy to get better in the movie because that was the problem. And if I could sleep with Billy then we’d have chemistry on screen, and if I would just have sex with him, then that would save the movie, and the real problem in the movie was me because I was so uptight, and so not like a real actress who could just f— him and get things back on track. The real problem was I was such a tight a–.”

Stone also revealed that she wanted to work with her Basic Instinct co-star Michael Douglas in Sliver and was frustrated about having to work with Baldwin, who was fairly new to the acting scene at that time. When her story came out, Baldwin offered up a different version on social media. He wrote, “Not sure why Sharon Stone keep talking about me all these years later? Does she still have a crush on me or is she still hurt after all these years because I shunned her advances? Did she say to her gal pal Janice Dickinson the day after I screen tested and ran into them on our MGM Grand flight back to New York… ‘I’m gonna make him fall so hard for me, it’s gonna make his head spin.’ ??? I have so much dirt on her it would make her head spin but I’ve kept quiet.” His wife, Chynna Phillips also shared a Tim Keller quote on her Instagram, seemingly referencing the situation, “If you were a hundred times worse than you are, your sins would be no match for his mercy.”

Meanwhile, Janice Dickinson denies the conversation ever happened. She said, “As I recall Sharon never said that to me. I am not sure why Billy Baldwin is bringing this up. I adore them both but that never happened.” So far, Stone has not responded to Baldwin but stay tuned! What’s your take on this feud? Have you seen the film Sliver? It is a drama-thriller about a woman who moves into a New York City apartment building and discovers all kinds of shocking secrets about its tenants.
