Where’s Tim the Tool Man Taylor when you need him?

Zachery Ty Bryan, who played his onscreen son Brad Taylor, is clearly going through a hard time. Over the weekend, he was arrested for a felony DUI and contempt of court. However, just days later, TMZ reported he was spotted in multiple bars near La Quinta, CA.

Saturday’s arrest was only the latest in a recent pattern of legal troubles for the actor, who pleaded guilty to felony assault in the fourth degree in October, for strangling now-fiancée Johnnie Faye Cartwright. He received three years of probation, which included attending a violence intervention program. Bryan was also arrested for a DUI in May 2020 (mugshot above), after which he was sentenced to five years of probation and 18 months of a multiple-offender alcohol program. Now he’s facing potential jail time. To be charged with a felony DUI in California means he’s had multiple prior DUIs or a prior felony DUI, so there were likely other ones as well.

He’s not the only actor with a wrap sheet from the show, TV dad Tim Allen had his share of troubles too. Hopefully, the actor can get the help he needs.
