Before she became synonymous with the game show, she wanted to become a model. Before she got the gig on Wheel of Fortune, she appeared on The Price is Right in 1980 as a contestant! When Bob Barker passed away, she shared a photo of herself on the show and thanked him for introducing her to the game show world. White was also a contestant on The Dating Game back in the 1970s!

White revealed in a previous interview with us, “I really like bright colors and pastel colors — warm colors like a flower. Pink. Baby blue. Bright orange. But my favorite is comfortable. I don’t get to keep the dresses but I do get to borrow them if I’m going to a charity event or a Good Morning America segment or something like that.”

White would love to see celebs from HGTV on ‘Celebrity Wheel of Fortune’

If White had her pick, she would love to feature Chip and Joanna Gaines, the Property Brothers, and other stars from HGTV on the celebrity-themed spin-off show. She loves watching HGTV while hanging out at home and one of her favorite hobbies is crocheting. White even owns her own line of yard called Lion Brand Yarn, Vanna’s Choice and donates half of the proceeds to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. As of now, she’s donated over $2 million to them.

She holds the Guinness World Record for “Most Frequent Clapper” on television. Did you know there was such a thing?!

Her name is in a rap song

She gets a shout-out in the song “Ride Wit Me” by Nelly with the lyrics “Can I make it? Damn right, I be on the next flight / Payin’ cash; first class — sittin’ next to Vanna White.” White shared, “I was at an Easter party years ago and Nelly was at that party. I went up to him and I said, ‘Did we ever sit next to each other on an airplane?’ And he goes, ‘No, it just rhymed.’ True story!” She added, “My kids were blown away. They thought I was really cool that I was in a Nelly song on the radio. That was one of the highlights of my career for my children. Like, ‘Wow, Mom! Great song.’ I was popular on that one. I get a big kick out of it.”

She collects classic cars
