Impractical Jokers, the show where lifelong friends aim to embarrass each other to make others laugh, starring James “Murr” Murray, Sal Vulcano, and Brian “Q” Quinn is finally returning for the second half of season 10. This year, the Jokers opened up about the special guest they had the hardest time booking. After Joe Gatto left the show, the remaining trio decided to book special guests including actors and comedians to spice up the newest season. In 2024, they are excited to announce that ALF, the cat-eating alien from the ’80s television show will be featured in an episode.

While they have gotten some A-list celebrities to appear on the show including rapper Post Malone and actor Paul Rudd, they said the hardest to book was definitely ALF. They confirmed it is the original ALF puppet featured on the show and it had to be taken out of storage.

Murray revealed, “Are you ready for this? To get ALF, we had to get the puppet a first-class ticket on a plane. No joke. Because you can’t check him, he’s too valuable. And you can’t fit him in the overhead.”

The new episodes will also feature nostalgic stars Kim Fields, best known for The Facts of Life (Feb. 15 episode), singer Paula Abdul (Feb. 22 episode), and former SNL star Bobby Moynihan (Feb. 8 episode). Harvey Guillén, Roy Wood Jr., Michael Ian Black, Joey Fatone, and Eric André have also been confirmed guests. “Sal, Q, and Murr have taken the hilarity and embarrassment of their antics to the next level this season,” said Jason Sarlanis, president, Turner Networks. “Fans have made Impractical Jokers truTV’s longest running comedy and we are confident that this upcoming season will deliver some of the most outrageous segments since the series began.”
